OSH Memorials

The history of the Oregon State Hospital is the history of the people who have lived or worked here. Since its opening in 1883, the Hospital’s hallways have rung with the voices of patients and caregivers, as well as community members who supplied its workshops, offered entertainment or trained to work with psychiatric patients. What better way to honor one of these people than to leave a memorial?

When you make a memorial contribution in honor of someone who has died, you will not only focus the community on their accomplishments, you will fund the operations of the Mental Health Museum dedicated to telling important stories.
