The Oregon State Hospital Museum is participating in the Hidden Gems: Mid-Willamette Valley Heritage Invitational Exhibit at the Willamette Heritage Center (formerly Mission Mill Museum and the Marion County Historical Society). The exhibit features selected items from over 14 different heritage and cultural organizations in Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties including: Antique Powerland Museum Association, Aurora Colony Historical Society, Bush House Museum, Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Forest History Center, Frank Lloyd Wright Gordon House, Historic Deepwood Estate, Hoover-Minthorn House, Independence Heritage Museum, Jensen Arctic Museum, Keizer Heritage Museum, Linfield Anthropology Museum, Oregon Northwest Black Pioneers, Settlemier House, Silverton Country Historical Museum, St. Paul Mission Historical Society, Willamette University Archives, and Yamhill County Historical Society, just to name a few.
The exhibit opens next week, Friday, January 21st and will run through March 12, 2011 at the Willamette Heritage Center in Salem (1313 Mill ST SE, Salem, OR 97301).
