The Oregon State Hospital Museum of Mental Health presents Jane Kirkpatrick to launch her latest novel,
One Glorious Ambition: The Compassionate Crusade of Dorothea Dix. A portion of the sales of this book will benefit the Museum.
Members of the Oregon State Hospital Museum are invited to the museum’s first Annual Meeting. The annual meeting is the membership’s opportunity to vote for Museum leaders and hear about future exhibitions and programs. This event is open exclusively to museum members. The meeting will be followed by the Museum’s First Birthday Party from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
The Oregon State Hospital Museum is participating in the 4th Annual Heritage Invitation Exhibition at the Willamette Heritage Center. The exhibit focusing on aspects of work in the Mid-Willamette Valley. Come see exhibits by the OSH Museum and a variety of other local heritage institutions as they explore this fascinating subject. Exhibit will be held at the Willamette Heritage Center (1313 Mill Street SE in Salem) and is open Monday-Saturday 10-5 pm.
